TTC issues order on strict compliance of SOP

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and administrator, Tuensang Town Council (TTC), Ajit Kumar Verma has issued an order on strict compliance of COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

According to DIPR, the ADC & administrator observed that various shopkeepers, business establishments, hotels, restaurants were not adhering to COVID - 19 practices such as provision of hand washing facility/hand sanitiser, maintaining social distancing and wearing of mask by salesmen and customers.

In this regard, an enforcement team has been constituted with the following members: Yempnag Chang as supervisor, TTC; Molodanchi Chang as assistant supervisor TTC; Asola as vice president CoC&I, Tuensang town; Elemmongko Chang as DB-II and LuyanYimchunger as DB-II.

The team will ensure the strict compliance of COVID-19 appropriate practice by imposing fines: no hand washing facility/hand sanitisers – (first offence Rs. 500) and warning and offence after one week of first offence (sealing of the establishment with or without suspension of trade license till facilities are provided).

No provision/mechanism to ensure the maintenance of queue and social distancing among the customers (penalty of Rs. 200 every time the offence is committed); not wearing of mask by salesman, other staff and customers concerned with particular shop, business establishment (penalty of Rs. 100 every time the offence is committed).
