Jotsoma village gate, along the by-pass road Jotsoma was inaugurated by Keniezhakho Nakhro, MLA, 8th Western Angami A/C on December 9.  According to DIPR report, Nakhro during the inauguration stated that the construction of the village gate was significant as it acted as a demarcation of Jotsoma village with the adjoining village, and also to have a clear boundary and avoid misunderstanding on boundary issues later on. Nakhro applauded the Thejavakhrie group for taking the task of building the gate for the village inspite of the group members being mostly retired and in their 60s. He added that their exemplary work would be a guiding light for the village.

During the inauguration of the Jotsoma village gate, Village Council, vice chairman, Kepelhukho Senotsu, head GB, Jotsoma village, shared about the history, meaning and significance of building village gates. Thejavakhrie group members, Kekoseto Nakhro, Kekhrieseto Peseyie, Rev. Savito Nagi and Kekongulhu Sano also shared about the history and activities of the group.
