Wokha Bikers Association (WBA), a group of mostly young like-minded individuals including constituency MLA, Dr. Chumben Murry set out on its maiden tour to some remote villages in Nagaland. Spreading a message of love and kindness during this festive season, the association handed out blankets, shawls and other necessities to the elderly/aged old persons. The tour was conducted following SOPs. The association expresses gratitude to Vanchamo Ngullie, joint director, Land Resource for extending help and support towards this endeavor.

Wokha Bikers Association was formed with a vision to promote human values and to encourage the society to cultivate a habit of kindness and goodwill. The founder of the association, Myanthung Kikon proclaimed that this was a small initiative in their attempt towards a better society. “Safety is a major concern, especially for two-wheelers in Nagaland,” as stressed by Kikon, and it was the endeavor of the association to spread awareness about road safety, traffic regulations, wearing proper gears and maintaining a safe speed limit, especially for two wheelers.
