YTC hold its 73rd general session at Iponger village

The 73rd Yimchungru Tribal Council (YTC) session was held at Iponger village under Pungro sub-division, Kiphire on March 24 under the theme "Patriotism and Peace”.

According to DIPR report, special guest, advisor IPR, SCERT & VG, Toshi Wungtung, unveiled the Yimchunger Tribal Council monolith in the presence of ENPO president and YTC president. 
Wungtung in his speech greeted all tribe leaders from different units and from administration under Kiphire district who had come to attend the session. 
Various traditional songs and dances were presented by cultural dance Longtsungru village, Zaonger village, Zhimkiur cultural troupe and tribal squad, Pungro village. The programme was chaired by vice president YTC, Kiuji and vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary YTC, Laji Luyanba.
